Good Morning East Fairmont! 


The school store has new hours! The store will be open during homeroom, both lunches, and now after school. Students can make purchases after the bell at the end of the day.  

Students who have been chosen as Elks Students of the month should turn in forms to Ms. Gerau today. 

Final's week began yesterday. Finals will continue in the event of a 2- hour delay. However, if school would be cancelled, exams will be moved to the following day. The exam schedule is as follows: 

 Today (Tuesday, January 11) Science, health, physical education 

 DAY #3: (Wednesday, January 12) Social Studies, Tech Ed, Foods/design, foreign language 

DAY #4: (Thursday, January 13) Math and Business 

 DAY #5: (Friday, January 14) Make-Up Test Day 

Stop by the school store during newly expanded hours and check out the new hoodies, t-shirts, lanyards and stickers! 

If any students have turned in excuses for absences, they can pick up their original note from Miss Butcher in the counseling office.  We will start returning notes to students after they are  scanned.  Students will be responsible for saving excuses for reference. 

 

The Bee a Buddy Club is doing a collection of items for our local Humane Society in honor of Betty White's Birthday. Items needed are Dog & Cat Food, Cat Litter, Blankets, Dog Toys, and Cleaning Supplies. Ask your homeroom teacher or take donations to Ms. Summers’ room 122. 

 

The girls’ basketball team plays at home tonight against Lincoln. JV Girls play at 5:45pm and Varsity at 7:30 p.m. 

 

Tomorrow night the freshmen boys’ basketball team plays Keyser at home with a 7 p.m. tip off.  

 

Donate your gently worn, new and used shoes to the class of 2023!

Yearbooks are on sale for this year. Orders may be placed at jostens.com or bring to Ms. Gerau in room 107. 

 

Any student interested in taking the ASVAB Test in January, please see Mrs. Copenhaver in the counseling office and sign up to do so.  This test is an aptitude test designed to measure your potential for success in military training.
