Congratulations to our cross country team in their performance at West Taylor tonight. Out of 22 schools, the Boys’ team finished 4th and the girls’ team 2nd. Individual places were won by:

Help us cheer on the hornet football team as they take on WFMS by participating in the themed days listed.
Congratulations to the cross country teams for the results from the meet in Buckhannon. The girls placed first and the boys second. Individual winners were: Ben 8th, Brady 9th, Dominic 14th,Grayson 15th for the boys and Anna 15th, Lily 6th, Jenna 4th, and Annabelle 3rd for the girls.
East Fairmont will be dismissing at noon due to water issues. Children will follow regular dismissal procedures as far as riding a bus or leaving with walkers unless we are notified of alternate plans. Thank you!

Congratulations to our Hornet Football Team in their 42-20 win over the Husky Pups tonight!
East Fairmont Middle 8th graders started their Steam experiences in the Marion County Steam Lab. Students are working on construction activities during their two day experience.
Thank you to the great group of staff members led by Ms Renita Golson that coordinated the efforts for our Open House. It was great having our families and community members able to come in and participate in some of the activities that were occurring and just spend a family friendly evening in our school. Over 150 families participated in this evenings events. What a great way to kick off what is going to be a great school year!
Tonight during open house, parents were asked to share their hopes for their hopes and dreams for their students. Here are the grade level posters that were created.
EFMS Open House is under way!
You are invited to East Fairmont Middle's first Open House on Tuesday, August 30th from 5 to 7 pm. Stop by to learn more about our PBIS program, student art classes, the STEM club, math field day, and the food pantry program at 1st Church of the Nazarenes. Come hungry and thirsty because we will have Carolina Market, Uncle V's Kickin Chicken, and Bubble Lemonade. Bubble Lemonade is generously donating 10 percent of their profit to the school. Raffle baskets, as well as, many PRIZES and GIVEAWAYS donated from Subway, Dairy Creme, Rita's, Stone Tower Brewery, Spa Oasis, Wendy's, and more.
6th grade teachers welcomed students back last week and spent some valuable time getting to know the students and building positive relationships!
Congratulations to our Cross Country teams! Boys finished 2nd overall and girls finished 1st. Individuals that placed were Annabelle Skidmore placed 3rd, Jenna Conaway and Lily Stuck also placed in the top 10!
