Parents: Please have a conversation with your student and remind them that they, and you, signed a contract saying that they would take care of the county issued chromebooks. Students have recently been removing the guard around the keyboard keys and causing keys to become loose and get lost. Intentional damage to a chromebook can become the financial responsibility of the student and parent. Please have this conversation with your student and remind them that they are to care for these devices. Thank you!
East Fairmont Middle School students will be taking the West Virginia General Summative Assessment next week, Monday through Thursday. Students need to be sure to be in school by 7:20 each day with charged chromebooks. Students are also encouraged to ensure that they have plenty of sleep next week and eat a good, healthy breakfast.
East Fairmont Middle's LSIC town hall meeting will be Monday, May 9th at 5 pm in the school library.
The Family Literacy Fair will be held Saturday, April 30th from 10-2. Please see fliers for more information.
Current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students were sent a link in their google classroom to a form that they can submit regarding the classes they are interesting in taking next year at East Fairmont Middle. Students were told not to submit these forms until after they had discussed this with their parents. Submissions will be accepted from 4 pm today, until Friday during their a/a period. Please discuss these with your students and have them ask their a/a teacher or an administrator questions before submitting.
Current 6th and 7th grade students only:
