Wanna hang out with some smart STEAM-minded students? Check out these 7th graders of West Fairmont Middle School and their boat designs. Teams competed to see which design would sustain a float the longest at the 12th Street Pool today. They were given limited supplies.

Mattie the Dog's last visit before summer break was at East Park to thank students for doing their best on the test and share in the excitement of the PTO's new book vending machine for students. It was secured through PTO and a grant.

Ciao! A student of Fairmont Senior High School, the first student in Marion County, has obtained the seal of Biliteracy in Italian. Salvatore Marino is a senior of Italian discent. He has diligently worked for years on mastering his Italian. Le mie più sincere congratulazioni!

When I grow up: Students at Jayenne Elementary are learning their numerous options for careers at a two-day career fair at the school, arranged by School Counselor Ms. Cipressi.
