Attendance and School Choice
Be an Attendance H.E.R.O. - Here. Everyday. Ready. On-time.
"Attend for the WIN! Miss Less Than 10!"
Marion County Schools sets high expectations for student attendance, behavior, and achievement for success! Attending school regularly, missing less than 10 school days per year, helps students gain necessary skills to stay on track for graduation and be prepared for post-secondary education and/or employment. Each of our schools are tasked with developing and implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports for student attendance. If your child is struggling to attend school regularly, contact your child's school principal or counselor and set up an appointment to discuss available supports and services for intervention.
