Ms. Dobrzynski’s Contemporary US History classes at East Fairmont High working on decades projects. Each group is assigned a decade to create a timeline of social and political events. They dress up for the oral presentation of era, teach the class a dance, and act out a skit.

Code the Sled! When you've got skills in robotics, drones, coding and all things STEAM, you share with your feeder friends at North Marion. In 9 different stations, kids 5-13 launched rockets, flew drones, learned coding, built Lego robots. Sponsored by Country Roads Code Grant.




Fairview Elementary held a Summer Book Binge Celebration by Read Aloud WV grant. Students performed reader theaters and song. Dawn Miller, Executive Director of Read Aloud WV, shared importance of reading and presented students with a tote of books for summer.

Delegate Joey Garcia came to speak to the third-grade students at Fairview Elementary School about being a member of the West Virginia Legislature. Students learned how important it is to listen to and respect one another, and at times, find ways to compromise.




Barnes Farms to Table High Tunnel! Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, onions, strawberries, lettuce ...oh my! The students of Barnes Learning Center are busy at it.




From addiction to recovery, C.W. Dent shares his personal story with students at East Fairmont High School this morning as part of the presentation presented by EFHS RAZE student organization. Community Care of WV sponsored the event.
