Tune In! Tomorrow is Election Day in WV and 4th grade students at Jayenne Elementary School researched the candidates and held an election for President today. Over the last two weeks, they have learned about the history of elections and political parties in the United States.

Tune In! Jayenne Elementary students completed a school-wide election project to elect a Halloween mascot. The candidates: Mothman, Bigfoot, and Braxxie, and the 4th grade students created and delivered persuasive projects for their candidates and worked the polls for voting!

The school brought home 2 State-elected student officers (Regan Hardway, vice president, and Shaila King, secretary), State Advisor the Year Nathy Janes, and Principal of the Year Jim Green.
