Last night, all 4 Fairmont Senior Attendance Area Bands were awarded a Legislative Citation from the West Virginia House of Delegates for earning a Superior Rating at the WVSSAC Region 10 Band Festival back in March. Delegate Joey Garcia presented the citation to all band students during the Middle School portion of the Fairmont Senior Area Bands Spring Concert Series. This is the first time in Marion County History that all 4 Bands earned a Superior Rating at the band festival. Congratulations to Marion County Technical Center's Mr. Morris! Explore the New Manufacturing, a state-wide non-profit connecting the manufacturing industry and education through project-based learning programs, annually recognizes educators who are making positive classroom impacts. Explore believes that student success is often the result of a dynamic teacher who inspires pupils to work harder to pursue a rewarding future. Mr. Morris is an excellent example.
