The WV FBLA Conference was held at Marshall University. Congratulations 🐝. 1st Place in Computer Applications- Sophia Toothman 2nd Place in Word Processing - Trevor Wotring Among 400, these EFHS students qualify to go to the National FBLA Conference in June at Atlanta, Georgia.

Did you catch the buzz being created by the illustrations of the East Dale Stingers created by the Pre-K students and on display?

National speaker Dr. Chris Price presented to Marion County Schools principals today on affirming the importance of relationships and how they directly influence student achievement.  

"STARBOOKS Café" open at East Dale Elementary. Mrs. Merrill, Mrs. Parrish, and Ms. Rakocky transformed themselves into "book" baristas and gave "customers" a menu for "Sipping, Tasting, and Reading" their "freshly brewed" book. the "book aficionados" perused the various offerings, Fantasy, Graphic Novels, Historical Fiction, Mystery, Realistic Fiction, Science Fiction, from the "STARBOOKS Café" and started their "tastings."

Marion County represented well yesterday at Regional Math Field Day. For 4th grade, 1st place- Blake Hannah, White Hall 2nd place- Lucas Jernigan, Jayenne 3rd place- Cooper Schrader, White Hall. All 3 boys are State Bound next month!

Congratulations to West Fairmont Middle's Will Fullen, who won 1st place for 5th grade at the Region 7 Math Field Day! He moves on to compete in the State Math Field Day on April 22 at Shepherd University! We are so proud of you Will!

What a celebration of the Marion County Technical Center FFA students' hard work at the Ham, Bacon and Egg Show tonight.
